Muhammad Rehan Ahmed is a Pakistani Producer, Director, Writer, and Journalist who predominantly works in the Urdu media industry. He was born in the city of Karachi in the Sindh province of Pakistan. Muhammad Rehan Ahmed completed his education with a Master’s Degree in Arts with a specialization in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Karachi University. He got his first job as an Associate Producer at ARY Digital. In 2002, Muhammad Rehan Ahmed moved to the United Arab Emirates, where he got a job as a Producer at Geo TV.
For a brief period, he worked as a Senior Producer at Aaj TV before going back to Geo TV. Muhammad Rehan Ahmed spent the next fifteen years at Geo TV, working his way up from a Senior Producer to a News Controller. In February 2020, after years of hard work, he finally became a News Director at HUM News. Besides all this, he is also a C.J.F.P. fellow with CNN. Muhammad Rehan Ahmed is also a teacher and works as a visiting faculty member at institutions such as Sindh Madressatul Islam University, Jinnah University for Women (JWU), and the University of Karachi.
