Shaista Lodhi is a Pakistani actress, TV anchor and host. She was born on 26 November, 1977 in Karachi, Pakistan. Her father is Mr. Ali Gohar Lodhi, and her mother’s name is Roshan Taj Lodhi. She has studied medicine and completed her MBBS from the Jinnah Sindh Medical University in 2000. In 1999, she got married to Waqar Wahidi and she came to be known as Shaista Wahidi. However, they both got divorced and separated in 2012. She decided to get married for a second time in June 2015 and got married to Adnan Lodhi who is the first Pakistani art auctioneer in South Africa.

Shaista has three children from her first marriage, namely Eeman Wahidi, Shafey Wahidi, and Faiz Wahidi. Moreover, Sahir Lodhi, who is Shaista's brother, also works in the Television industry. Shaista started her career in 2001 as a VJ. Later, she was offered a job as a TV show host on a private TV channel. She served as the host of a morning show called Good Morning Pakistan, which used to air on ARY Digital. After the show got suspended, Shaista then moved to South Africa with her three children. She returned to Pakistan in 2015 and made her comeback as the host of a morning show called Sitare Ki Subah, which aired on Hum Sitaray. She was also the host of Mehmaan Nawaz on SEE TV. She started working back with the Geo TV in 2017 and hosted Geo Subah Pakistan in January 2017. Shaista Lodhi also served as the captain of the Peshawar Stallions team in a Ramadan Special show called Jeeto Pakistan League in 2020. In October 2021, she also revealed that she would replace Nadia Khan and would be hosting a morning show on PTV Home in the near future.

On 15 November 2021, Shaista made her debut on the ‘Morning at Home’ show. Besides hosting, Shaista has done various Television series, Telefilms, and Reality shows, such as Waada, Jeeto Pakistan League, Samjhota, Pardes, Khan, Uff Yeh Biwiyaan, Good Morning Pakistan, To Be Honest 2.0, Geo Subah Pakistan, Mehmaan Nawaz, Bakhabar Savera, Nestlé Nesvita Women of Strength '09, Utho Jago Pakistan, Sitaray ki Subha, With Samina Peerzada, and Morning at Home.
