Tariq Jameel, appointed as Tariq Jameel Paracha was a veteran actor and producer who was majorly working in Pakistani cinema. He was born on 23 April 1951 in Nowshera but lately lived in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his school education from Govt. High School No. 1, Nowshera Cantt and Muslim Model High School, Lahore. Later, he studied at National College of Arts and completed his Masters in Urdu from University of Punjab. He began his career by working for PTV as a set designer. Initially, he worked as a Former Actor at PTV and then as a Former Producer at PTV. In 2005, he was assigned the post of Former Sr. Executive Producer at Geo TV whereas, from 2010, he worked as a Freelance actor in Film and TV.

He was not only the finest actor in Urdu cinema but also among the accomplished producers. He produced his first drama “Aanch”starring Shugufta Ijaz and Shafi Mohammad Shah, which became a blockbuster hit. His endeavour and competencies earned him a significant place in the Pakistani showbiz Industry.
