Jamshed Ansari, son of the famous business tycoon Zamir Hasan Ansari was a renowned TV & film actor in the Pakistani Film Industry. He was born on 31 December 1942 in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. In 1948, Jamshed moved to Pakistan with his family. Films were not only the medium of entertainment but also the medium of learning & constructing minds. So keeping this in mind, Jamshed wanted to become an actor from childhood. When he was eighteen years old, he moved to London to complete his television production courses. He worked in various theatrical shows & with the BBC Production House also. In 1968, Jamshed returned to Pakistan to launch his acting career. He started his journey in 1968 with Jharokhey, a Lahore theatrical drama.

After that, he participated in another theatrical drama of Agha Nasir's Ghora Ghaas Khata Hai. He has also worked in Pakistan Radio Programme called Hamid Mian Kay Haan as a character of Safdar.
