Vijayachander

Vijayachander Telidevara is an Indian film and theater actor. Also, he is a director and producer mostly appearing in Telugu and South Indian films. He was born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. He started his career in theater and played many roles in plays such as Lobhi, Master ji, Wanted Fathers, etc.

He was seen playing famous roles in many blockbuster films such as Karunamayudu ( dubbed in Hindi as Daya Sagar, and English as Ocean of Mercy), Sri Shirdi Saibaba Mahathyam (dubbed into Hindi as Shirdi Sai Baba Sai Baba/ Sai Baba Tere Hazaron Hath is the Hindi >> Read More... Ki Kahani), Vemana Charithra, Dayamayudu etc.

In 1982, he produced his first movie namel Andhra Kesari which was the biographical film of his grandfather. He has also done Malayalam and Tamil language films. He has won a few awards like National film award for best feature film (sudigundalu) and Nandi Award for best feature film (Karunamayudu). He was also seen on DD national in a serial called Dayasagar. Vijayachander was also seen doing social service. In 2007, he donated land for old film artists and Movie Artists Association
