AP Dhillon

Amritpal Singh Dhillon, who is  known professionally as AP Dhillon. He is an Indo-Canadian. He is a singer, rapper, and record producer associated with Punjabi music.  He was born on January 10th, 1993, in Mullianwal in the Gurdaspur district of Punjab, India. He studied at the Little Flower Convent School and graduated in Civil Engineering from Baba Kuma Singh Ji Engineering College in Amritsar. AP was looking for his Diploma in Business Administration and Management at Camosun College in Saanich, British Columbia, Canada. 

He is famous for genres like Hip-Hop, Pop, and Pop rap. In 2019, AP started the single track "Fake" with Shinda Kahlon Shinda Kahlon, born Satinderpal Singh Kahlon and b >> Read More... under their independent label, Run-Up Records. Gurinder Gill Gurinderbir Singh also known as Gurinder Gillis an >> Read More... and Shinda Kahlon credited him with producing the track 'Faraar', and he appeared in the video later. In 2020, Gminxr produced his single 'Deadly' and he collaborated with his colleagues Gurinder Gill, Shinda Kahlon, and Gminxr on Run-Up Records.

He entered the UK Asian chart and the chart was published by the Official Charts Company, and peaked at number 11. His single " Majhail Bio coming soon... >> Read More... ," which topped both the UK Asian and Punjabi charts, became their best performance till date.  The UK Asian and UK Punjabi charts both saw AP and Gurinder Gill appear on 'Excuses' by Intense in July 2020, peaking at number 3 and topped. In 2020, he released "Brown Munde," and this song entered the Apple Music chart in Canada. This song debuted at number one on the UK Asian chart, and became his second number one on the chart.

Gurinder Gill and Money Musik Money Musik is a young and famous Canada-based Ind >> Read More... were the partners on AP's first Collaborative EP, Not by Chance, which was released in 2020. The NZ charts saw all seven tracks from the EP chart in the UK, and they also reached the top five of the Official Punjabi Music chart. In 2021, AP and his team performed a live concert for the first time as part of the "Over The Top-The Takeover Tour" in six major cities in India. AP partners with Boat for brand association.

AP released a collaborative EP, "Hidden Gems," with Gurinder Gill and Gminxr in the fall of 2021. In 2022, AP collaborated with Amazon Prime Video to promote the trailer for The Boys season 3, playing an exclusive version of his track 'Insane'. At the 2023 Juno Awards in Edmonton, Canada, AP became the first Punjabi singer to perform with his hit song Summer High in 2023.
