Carroll Chiramel is a freelance film and video editor of Indian origin. He is based in Mississauga, Canada. Carroll has almost ten years of experience in the industry. He has studied Science at M.V &L.U. College of Arts, Science and Commerce. He has studied film and television production from Xavier Institute of Communication and holds a certificate in television and film from Sheridan College. They have worked as a freelance editor, picture editor, and sound editor on various films, TV shows, and commercials. He has also worked as a picture editor for Puppy Dog Productions and on the feature film Get the Sucker Back.
Some of his notable works include Meet the Parents which won the Best Short Film Award at African Movie Academy Award 2016, White Lock which was selected at Cannes Short film Corner - 2015, and Under the Same Sun which was screened at Mill Valley Film Festival - 2015 and awarded Silver Audience Choice Award in the International World Cinema category. He is currently working as the director at Orange Spot Productions.
