Rampal is an editor working in the Punjabi film industry. He was born on 10th April 1983 in Kakaut, Kaithal Tehsil in Haryana. Rampal started his career as a photographer in a studio in his town, which is famous for wedding photography. In 2005, he started his career as an editor at Binny Films in Mohali. He worked for A1 Tehelka and Andy Haryana as a video editing head.

In 2010, he worked in a Rajasthani film, Matti Ka Laal Meena Gujjar. The same year, he got the National Award for his telefilm, Rooh da Dard. In 2013, he worked as an editor for the Punjabi film Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad. In 2016, he worked in Parbhadh and in 2017, he worked in Kirdaar E Sardaar as an editor. His 2018 projects include Jigar Wali Dhee as an editor, Salute as the promo editor, and Nankana as an assistant editor. In 2019, he worked as an associate editor as Kaka Ji, Chala Mera Putt 1, and Doorbeen. He was the online editor for Munda Hi Chahida. In 2021, he edited the film Bhuleka.
