Divyajot Singh, a well-known Punjabi film editor, hails from Ludhiana, Punjab. He is working in the Bollywood film and TV industry. He has done feature films, non-fiction documentaries, and web series. He completed his B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication from Amity University, Greater Noida in 2013. From his college days, his inclination was towards editing. He participated in TimeCode Film Festival in 2011 and was awarded for his editing skills in Ruins, a short film. Twin Toxicated, another short film, was also screened in TimeCode Film Festival in 2012.
His passion was for direction and editing, so he enrolled for a master’s degree in Film Television and Digital Video Production from St. Zaviers College, Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed his master’s in 2016. Lastly, he got a specialization in Film Editing from FTII ( Film and Television Institute of India, Pune).
Talking about his experience, he worked as a Video Editor in ‘The Viral Fever’ for approximately two years. He assisted in a feature film – Saina, as an editor. In Gullak, one of the best web series by TVF Creation, he worked as an associate editor. He has worked with various production houses and gained ample skills.
Some of his noticeable projects in which he has worked are ‘ Aakhiri Sawari(2016), Flames(2018) and Rana Naidu(2023)
