Rudrakanta Singh

Rudrakanta Singh is a well-known choreographer and dancer. He was born in Bahugram, Odisha, India. He was very interested in dance from a young age and started practicing it at a very young age. He did his schooling at Vivekananda Vidya Pitha; he went to college at BIJU PATTNAIK FILM AND TELEVISION INSTITUTE OF ODISHA, I.G.N.O.U.

He worked as a director of photography in the Indian film industry. He is married to Jasmin Singh. He is choreographed and performed across India and abroad. He is well-known for the fusion of traditional Odia dance forms with modern dance techniques to create unique dance steps and choreography.

Singh has choreographed dances for several films and television shows, corporate events, and fashion shows. His work and dedication have won him many awards, including the Odisha State Film Award for Best Choreography (for the film Titli), the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, the Narthaki Award, and the Yuva Kalakar Award. He is also a recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, the highest award in the performing arts in India. One of his popular works is Glimpse, 2.
