Tattwa Prakash Satapathy, well known by his stage name Papu Pom Pom, is an Indian film and television actor, music director, and stand-up comedian. Additionally, he was also a candidate for Odisha Legislative Assembly. He was born on 26th May 1977 in the Kaptipada area of the Mayurbhanj district. With an acting career of over 50 Odia films and 500 characters on television, his acting debut in " Tu Mo Akhira Tara Story soon >> Read More... " (2005) was where his Ollywood journey began. In 2007, he was offered the job of a radio jockey for a private radio channel, which was where he got the name Papu Pom Pom. To add a feather to his hat, he is also a trained Hindustani vocalist. He was a well-desired actor for comedy roles, given his spontaneity and acting.
His father is a headteacher at a high school and a performing artist. Papu has a BSc Degree in Chemistry from Udala College. Papu held the position of dramatic secretary in his college during his study. Papu rose to fame after his lead role in well-known Odia television comedy serials such as "Excuse Me: JahaKahibiSataKahibi", "Faltu Katha", and "AitaBayata". He has acted in other movies, including “BalungaToka” (2011), “RangilaToka” (2012), “Kebe Tame Naha Kebe Mu Nahi” (2012), “PilataBigidigala” (2015), and “Love Station” (2016). In 2018, Papu announced the release of his new film titled "Chirkut". Papu has his own production house, "Papu Pom Pom Creations", for YouTube.
