Ashutosh Mahapatra is an Indian Odiya Actor and Producer. He is from Bhubaneswar. He went to the Government Boy’s High School Unit-8 and then was a student at Biju Patnaik University of Technology at Rourkela. He did his post-graduation in Visual Media. After completing his studies, he was a director for documentaries and television commercials. His directorial debut for film projects is Stranger in the House.
His other works are Bits and Pieces (2007) as writer and producer; and ROCADA and The Forgotten 1943 as producer. His notable works are “Jalchobi” (water fresco 2022) as a Producer, which is an India-Bangladesh-France co-production and was selected for the International Film Festival of India - Goa 2021 and the Dhaka International Film Festival 2021. He also won the Best Screenplay State Award for his film "Wet Heaven"(2019).
