Majhya Navryachi Bayko is a television show featuring Anita Date Kelkar, Rasika Sunil, Abhijeet Khandkekar in prominent roles. It was with this series that Rasika made her television debut. Born on August 3, 1992, in Akola, Maharashtra, Dhabadgavkar shifted to Mumbai when she was a year old. Rasika was born to Sunil Dhabadgavkar, a chartered accountant, and Manisha Dhabadgavkar, a housewife. She also has a brother named Yash, who is an IIT graduate. The actress exchanged wedding vows with Aditya Bilagi in 2021.

Rasika schooled in Dombivli, Maharashtra, and pursued higher studies at K. G. Joshi Bedekar College, Thane, where she obtained a degree in BMM. Besides studies, Rasika also trained as an artist, earning a diploma in Bharatnatyam. The actress is also musically talented, and she earned a Sangeet Visharad in classical music. Dhabadgavkar is also known for performing Lavani dance on the number Kashalo Lavato Naat in the 2016 Marathi flick Poshter Girl, with which she debuted in the Marathi cinema. After that, she was offered the role of Shanaya in the television show Majhya Navryachi Bayko. Dhabadgavkar also has the credit of starring in the 2017 Marathi political comedy-drama flick Baghtos Kay Mujra Kar as Pandurang Shinde’s wife. The actress featured in the role of Maithili in another 2017 Marathi flick Bus Stop.

In the 2018 Marathi film Gatmat, Rasika played the role of Kaavya. Her other notable work is in the 2019 flick Girlfriend, portraying Shweta. Dhabadgavkar has received various awards for her outstanding performances. The actress bagged Best Negative Role - Female at the Zee Marathi Utsav Natyancha Awards 2017 for Majhya Navryachi Bayko. She won the Best Supporting Actress Award at Yuva Chitra Padarpan Puraskar 2017 for the flick Baghtos Kay Mujra Kar. She has also won Best Negative Role- Female and Special Mention at the Zee Marathi Utsav Natyancha Awards 2016 and 2021, respectively, for Majhya Navryachi Bayko.
