Born on 1st February 1955, Pramod Ranade is a vocalist, violinist, music director and producer, and arranger of Indian music in the Marathian industry. The Marathi singer started his career in 1980 as a harmonium player and now appears for live performances for a variety of programs. He worked as a movie singer, and produced- 'Tu Tithe Mee', for which he was presented with a Regional Filmfare award. His collaboration soundtrack Mahadeva Jato Ga for the film - Khairlanjichya Mathyawar, is regarded as a great success. He has also covered songs like 'Zindagi Khwab hai', 'Main kya janu kya jadu hai', 'Saigal Sailab' and has various instrumental covers like 'Tujhe kya sunau mai dilruba', 'Jarasi Ahat hoti hai', and 'Mitti se khelte ho baar baar".
