Gandhar Sangoram is a famous Singer and also a Music Director. He is from Pune, Maharashtra, India. He has primarily worked in the Marathi language. He graduated from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2004 to 2009. Nineteen instruments can be played by Gandhar. Gandhar has directed music for experimental plays, one-act plays, short films, and jingles. He also produced music for Marathi dramas like “Charu Aaro E,” “Paraka,” “Sharam Gayi To,” “Logging Out,” and “T for Temptation.”
He was awarded “The Debut Music Award” for the film “Ek Hajarachi Note” and “The Sawai Musician Award” for a one-act play Cycle based on a story written around 1960. He was also awarded the “P.L. Deshpande Trophy” for the best music for two consecutive years. He is popularly known as a music composer for the movies “Postcard,” released in 2014, and “Mohan Rakesh’s Adhe Adhure,” released in 2014. He also composed background music and worked as a singer for the movie “The Quest,” released in 2017.
He composed music for “San Marathi Manacha,” a Marathi album released on 13 May 2022.
