Lahu Laxman Panchal is a Marathi, Hindi, and Gujarati film playback singer and composer. He learned and started his journey of classical music from Guru Shri Vinayakrao Kunte at Mumbai Mulund Sangeet Aashram. After receiving his bachelor's degree in arts from Ruia College in 1990, he entered the music industry and, he managed to perform both inside and outside of India on stage with both the Marathi and Hindi orchestra. He has performed on stage in countries like the USA, London, Singapore, Israel, Dubai, Nigeria, and South Africa. On one of his performances, Mr. Lahu sang "Ghanshyam Sundara" on the DD Sahyadri channel, which was appreciated by fans all over India.
This program is still aired on the Sahyadri channel yearly on Gokul Ashtami. He won the top award in Tara Vahini's "Tararampam," a talent competition. He also appeared in the Urdu song " Irshad Irshad is an Indian actor in Malayalam films. He h >> Read More... " for Zee Channel after being named the "Tarampam" super winner. He also had an opportunity to meet prominent Bollywood playback singers while performing on Doordarshan and was blessed to receive their advice on his journey. Later on, Mr. Lahu and his close friend Madhav Vijay began their careers as Hindi and Marathi movies music composers named Lahu-Madhav.
Together, they wrote the music for the Hindi films like Rajdhani Express Click to look into! >> Read More... and Dhyas, as well as in the Marathi films Yala Jeevan Aise Nav, Athang, Kirket, and Mixer, and the Gujarati films “20 Vi Navami” and “Manjil Ho Tamari Dur Bhale”. Mr. Lahu later received the "Dadasaheb Phalke" award for the best singer at the NIF Golden Awards in Nashik in 2016 and was nominated again for the same song at "Radio Mirchi 98.3" in 2017.
