Ranjit Shankaran is an expert editor. He edited feature films, corporate films, serials, and ad films in various languages. The main languages he has edited are Hindi, Marathi, and English. Shankaran has been in the media profession for 27 years. He took B. Com degree from the University of Mumbai but later took a postgraduate diploma in Cinema. He found a particular interest in editing from Film and Television institute of India from Pune. He has a special interest in the Bollywood film Industry. Ranjit Shankaran has a vast network in the film Industry. He has worked on multiple tasks and led with enthusiasm.

He worked as a producer in the Marathi channel ETV from 2001 to 2003. There, he also worked on content creation and Live programs. Shankaran became associate dean at Rai University in 2003 and later became a professor and head of the department of editing and production at L.V. Prasad film and television academy. Ranjit Shankarna reached high positions but also installed a film School at Revathy Kalamandir Film Academy in Kerala. He focuses more on practicing and practicing film to his students at his University. He uses the art and craft of filmmaking to let students learn about the film industry.
