Devdas Bhandare is an assistant art Director and worked as an art Director in films in the Hindi and Marathi film industries. He got his foundation degree from the Indian Institutes of Art in January 1986. He was awarded as best art director at Sahyadri Cine award in 2015. Devdas Bhandare recalls that when he was of age 22, it was the late veteran art director M.S. He has worked with many well-known film directors such as Mahesh Bhatt and in many Hindi films, such as Aawarge, Chaahat, Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aaayee, Shahid Bhai Kotwal, Voicemail, The Gentleman, and many more. Devdas says it is a must that one should get trained under an art director for at least 10 to 15 years to work as an independent art director, and one should be prepared to face many challenges as one works towards the goal. He also has photographic which is a huge advantage to him in working on films.
