Ambrish Thakker is a costume designer, stylist, look director, and costume director. He took a diploma course in Fashion Designing from Little Angels High School. He is a Mumbai-based costume designer or stylist with an experience of more than twenty-five years. Ambrish Thakker has been designing or styling for television shows, web series, ad films, films, personal styling, events, and weddings for both men & womenswear.

Ambrish Thakker has worked with television and movies. He also undertakes wedding orders for wardrobe, change makeover, personal stylist, and personal shopper. He caters to women, men, and kids both Indian and Western wear. Also, Ambrish Thakker is interested in freelancing with the export of fashion houses. As a fashion director, he has worked at D. G. Production (Pen India) in Mumbai for six months (Jan 2015 – Jun 2015). After that, he was a fashion stylist at Roger Tango Productions in Mumbai for six months (Jul 2015 – Nov 2015). He then worked as a freelance designer in Mumbai for fifteen years (Sep 2000 – Jan 2016). Since May 2019, Ambrish Thakker has been working as a costume designer or stylist at Thakkerambrish.
