Mangesh Mardhekar is an independent consultant. He is a physics bachelor's student at Mumbai University's Bhavans College. He began his work in 2008 and 2015 as a deputy programmer for the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI), at Mumbai Film Festival. After that, he held positions as a festival programmer at Yashwant International Film Festival from 2010 to 2017, programmer for FICCI FLO Mumbai from 2015 to 2016, and as director of programming at the Aurangabad International Film Festival since 2017. He now works as a freelance consultant for almost seven years and eight months.
