The movie, directed by Atul Sonar, was set in a village and dealt with local election politics and Kabbadi. Pooja Jaiswal became popular for her role as a kabaddi player, Kamini Sardesi, in the movie 'Vijayi Bhav.' Following this success, she played the part of a beautician in the Marathi serial ‘Gulak’. Apart from her roles in movies and serials, she expressed herself as an actress and dancer in her features in music videos like Tere Bin Janeja, Aalis Tu, Kunal Karan Maan Hai, and Hey Deva Hey Ganapathi. As an actress, she was awarded the Best Debut Actress for the film Atrocity in 2018 by the 10th Nashik International Film Festival and the Most Admired and Inspiring Indian by IESECCI in 2021.
