Sudhir Joshi was a famous Indian actor and comedian, predominantly working in the Marathi film industry. He was born on 25 July 1948 in Dadar and died on 14 December 2005.

He has done his schooling at Pinto Villa (branch of Raja Shivaji Vidyalaya) and attended college at Kirti College to pursue BA in economics. Before entering the Marathi film industry, he worked as a sales executive at the publishing company Blackie and Sons.

In 1973, he left his job and worked in other sales-related jobs for a year. Later, in 1074, he got the golden opportunity to start his career in acting and got a chance to act in a play.
