Sharmista Nag is an Indian director. She did her Bachelor’s in Mass Media and Advertising in 2001. She was also a part of the college’s Movie Club. In 2002, she volunteered at the Polaris, an arts and culture fest held by the Wilson College. She went on to do her Master’s in Direction and Screenplay from the prestigious Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute in Kolkata in 2011. She worked as a freelancer as a filmmaker in 2015. She then joined Picturewali as a director in 2020. Sharmista has assisted many ad filmmakers during her career. She lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
