to get her master's done. She did her master's at Syracuse University, New York. She realized her passion as a performer, and went ahead to get herself trained in the theatrical field. She took improvisational theatre classes that helped her become a better writer and a performer. In 2014, she performed in New York and certain parts of India including Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kochi, Delhi, etc.
She wrote a book called Unladylike: A Memoir. She also works as a columnist for The Times Of India. She also co-created the web series Shugs & Fats with Nadia P. Manzoor, for which they also won Gotham Award. Presently, she is on the development team of Amazon Studios.
