Rajshri Debnath is a Hindi serial actress who is best known for her role of “Sandhya Oberoi “in the serial ‘Meri Doli Tere Angna’ aired on Zee TV. For Rajshri acting was not something that happened by chance; she was a model and while she was doing her ramp walk she proactively took the decision to step into acting on television.

The acting was a long-pursued dream to her. According to her, her dream role is performing the character of ‘Basanti’ from the famous Hindi movie ‘Sholay’ as she feels that Hema Malini’s character in that movie is both innocent and entertaining at the same time.

She finds characters like these quite appealing as they are authentic and natural. Though she is very content with her role on television, she is willing to accept offers from films if the roles are appealing and entertaining.

She adds that she had received a few offers for performing item numbers, but she doesn’t want to be tagged as an ‘item girl,' hence she had rejected those offers. She prefers performing compelling roles on Television rather than accepting small and unimportant roles in films.

Her character of “Sandhya Oberoi” in ‘Meri Doli Tere Angna’ has huge versatility in it. It’s completely a negative role where she is the menace creator of the home. She feels that this character of hers has huge potential in the serial is the best role of her career so far.

This character is extremely arrogant, and this allows Rajshri to bring a lot of drama and tantrums to the show. She feels that this role will draw the attention of the viewer’s more towards her acting skills as it has a lot of new elements to it.

She also feels that this character is very similar to her personal self in many ways as she like her character is very active and chirpy but she is not shrewd and dominating. Rajshri is extremely industrious and has great passion towards achieving excellence in her work.
