Megha Chakraborty

Megha Chakraborty, born on 3rd May 1989 in Kolkata, West Bengal is a Bengali film and television actress.

Initially, when she got her first debut in the television series Badii Devrani, everyone thought that she wouldn’t be the right choice to act as a traditional Hindu “bahu” as she had a western outlook but she proved them wrong. Eventually, she succeeded in becoming the most favourite “bahu” of every Indian family.

At first, she had a little bit difficulty to cope up with the dialogues since she had a Bengali accent. But the cast and crew of the series helped her with the accent and things got better.Dance was her passion since childhood days. Megha is reputed for the pranks that she play on the sets. We learn that she played mischief on her costar Mudit. Apparently she took away the phone of Mudit. who is very fond of his phone, and passed it from one person t another without his knowledge.

Megha is also a good cook and amazed everyone on the sets of Badi Devrani with her fantastic culinary skills. She cooked some mouth-watering Bengali dishes for them. She cooked delicious Bengali style fish curry for them and the team loved it. 

Megha is an incredible pet lover and seems to have an affinity towards pups and dogs. She has a Labrador at home which she loves so much. The 30-year-old actress is still hoping for a very big break like the television series Badii Devrani.
