Nitin hails from Lucknow. He did his schooling from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Jalgaon. After this, he completed his graduation in journalism from Sikkim Manipal University Gangtok.

In 2013 he completed his course from National Institute of photography. He first featured in the daily soap Mere Ghar Ayi Ek Nanhi Pari, aired on Colors TV. After this he played Balram in the television series ‘Jai Shree Krishna’ also aired on Colors. This was a mythological series based on life instances of Lord Krishna. Based on the life of Emperor Chandragupta Maurya this historical series was aired on Imagine TV. Nitin essayed the character of Ambhik Kumar. With fiery scenes and action-packed performances, he made himself a prominent one in the show. He gained the spotlight after this. He then featured in the family show Parvarish-Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi. The show was telecasted on Sony TV from 2011-2013. He is an avid photographer. He has worked for Mumbai Wedding Photographer. His interest has made him capture a lot of scenic moments.
