Manoj Bidwai is an Indian model-turned-television actor who appeared as Paramjeet in the drama series, Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari on Colors TV. He was born on February 7, 1975 and raised up in Mumbai. Manoj studied Commerce and he aims to start his own business. But deep in his heart, he wanted to be an actor. He works on his father’s hardware business when he was young while joining dramas and plays at school. He was married to actress Ravee Gupta in 2007 and, recently, the two became the proud parents of a baby boy whom they called Agastya. When Gupta got pregnant, Manoj took a hiatus on his acting career so he can focus more on her wife’s pregnancy. After doing the serial Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari, Manoj concentrated on doing films.

Manoj did a brief appearance in the Telugu romance film, Idhi Maa Ashokgadi Love Story in 2003, where he played the role of Vinod who is engage to the female lead character, Gauri (played by Kanchi Kaul). He also joined the casts of the Hindi film, Valentine Days in 2003 under the direction of Sumeer Sabharwal. In 2010, he acted in the Marathi film, Manini. This film was shot mostly from Dubai. He played the role of Deepak, a photographer. Manoj also played the main lead role as Rahul opposite with Ritisha Vijavargya in the Bollywood film, Rivaaz in 2011.

In 2004, he bagged the role of Abhi in the Hindi soap, Dekho Magar Pyaar Se; a romantic comedy serial that revolves on the life and emotions of Nikita Sareen (played by Shweta Agarwal/ Shraddha Nigam). He also did the antagonist role of Andy Singh, son of Baldev (played by Bharat Kapoor) who will try to murder Kanwaljeet (played by Ranbir Singh) in Siddhant Cinevision’s Aisa Des Hai Mera on Sony Entertainment Television in 2006. Later, he appeared in the Hindi serial, Naaginn – Waadon Ki Agniparikshaa as Kanishka on Zee TV. He was also part of the show, Bombay Talking on Zee Café under the production of UTV. This soap is mainly in the English language, but there are also characters who speak in the Hindi language. He also appeared as Shashank, the sports coach in the teen drama serial, Remix on STAR One. He was also featured in STAR One’s Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii.

Manoj went missing in year 2008 after doing the Hindi serial, Meri Awaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni. His character landed into jail and supposedly, Manoj will re-enter the show but it didn’t happen. He did the serial, Shaadi Street in 2006 but it was delayed and got telecasted in year 2008. The show was renamed to Gum Hua Hosh, where Manoj was bagged to play the second lead role.
Manoj has done many Hindi television serials and Telugu films; he is now waiting for a better opportunity in the big screen to come his way.
