Ashutosh Sinha is an Indian Television actor. He hails from ‘Gaya’ in ‘Bihar’ and entering the TV industry was not easy. Cricket was his first love.          From Patang, in 1993 to Lapataganj in 2009, it was quite a struggle and really depressing at times. He worked at an Ayurvedic medicine shop in Mumbai for ten long years to sustain himself. But at the same time, he kept doing theatre as well. Rekha Sahay enrolled him in her Yatri theatre group where he did a lot of plays. But he was most appreciated for The Perfect Husband by the audience and critics alike. In 2009, after watching him in one of the plays, the writer of Lapataganj - Sharad Joshi Ki Kahaniyon Ka Pata, Shri Ashwini Dhir offered him the role of Guddu. By then, he had already worked in CID, Chamatkar and Kahin Kissi Roz. So, it was a familiar domain and the script was also enticing. The rest, as they say, is history. 

He feels that now he has become so addicted to playing Guddu that he doesn’t even feel the need to quit the show. He has worked in Lapataganj -, which is a sitcom television series telecast on Sab TV. The show became very popular among the public and re-launched in second season. The first episode of the show was telecast on 26 October 2009 and the last episode one on 15 August 2014. It completed 1077 episodes from two seasons. After doing more than 1000 episodes, he finds it hard to call it a day from the popular serial.
