Durin Das

She started acting late in her career and came as a supporting actress in Bollywood movies. Das is multilingual and can speak Assamese, English, Hindi, and Bengali. She did her masters from Jamia Milia Islamia Institute Of Advanced Studies In Education, in English language and Literature.

Durin started her career as Crime News Anchor for “Prag News Channel,” in Guwahati, Assam. She worked for a year and joined “Under Kangkan Rajkhowa,” as an Assistant Director, with Mr.Rajkhowa for the movie “G.S ROAD,” whose story revolved around a girl struggling in the city. Her job included performing various troubleshooting for issues, active participation in forums, and meetings, supporting management and assisting the Director.

In July 2014, NE HIFI, an entertainment channel company in Assam, hired Das as an Assistant Director. The main work included directions for a popular beauty contest, “Miss HiFi.” News Time Assam selected Durin as an Assistant Director, and worked for a travel show “Jajabori Mon (season 2).” She worked in GUPSHUP FM 93.4 for six months as a Marketing Executive in September 2014 and performed as an intern to NDTV in 2015.

In August 2016, she joined Rangrez Films in Mumbai, Maharashtra as a Researcher and Associate Producer. Durin’s main work was seen assisting during post-production work of an award function, the post-production work in the show “Cafe Maria with Anusha Khan,” assisted in Research, and also as an Assistant Director in the shows “Sailing Chef,” and “Adventure of Pablo,” etc. In September 2017, Das worked as a Live Producer at Endemol Shine India in Mumbai in the TV reality show “ Bigg Boss Bigg Boss Tamil is the Tamil language version of t >> Read More... ,” for five months.

For ten months, she worked under ESSEL VISION PRODUCTIONS as an Associate Producer in Mumbai, for two famous reality Tv Shows, “DANCE INDIA DANCE,” and “DANCE INDIA DANCE LI’L MASTERS.” The year 2018 brought her to work with FREMANTLE, as an Associate Producer, in May 2018 to July 2018. Later she joined two companies, The Viral Fever,” and “Sol Production Pvt.Ltd.,” as a Chief Assistant Director, and Associate Producer respectively, still working.
