Ayan De

Ayan De is an Indian sound engineer. He has been working as a Senior Audio Engineer at Stitch audio since Aug 2020. Also, he was a Co-Founder of Stitch audio. After completing his early education, he went to the SAE Institute in Andheri to pursue Sound Engineering. He took a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Recording Arts Technology & Technician. He lived in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Mumbai due to his father’s travelling job with Bharat Petroleum. Ayan De has been living in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. When Ayan De came across his friend’s toy piano, he realized that he could string melodies of famous tunes together. After scoring a high in a Hindi school exam, his mother brought him an actual keyboard. It was the only instrument that he had had for the longest time. During his late teenage years, Ayan De started attending Chennai’s Unwind Center School of Music. He interacted with many musicians, volunteered at the center, and played gigs on Fridays. He moved to Mumbai, Maharashtra, after a short stint in Hotel Management at Manipal.

As a keyboardist, he had stints in Mumbai metal outfit Descarta and alt metallers Goddess Gagged. In 2011, he started going for electronic gigs. He worked with Your Chin on his debut EP. He used to hang out with other producers such as Zokhuma and Sandunes. Also, he has worked in the commercials for ads and television for shows such as “The Voice” and international work as a ghost producer & mixing engineer. As a sound designer, he has worked on a few Netflix shows. From Jul 2007 to Apr 2008, he worked as a Junior Software Engineer at AOL in Bangalore, Karnataka. He got hired under the junior summer program. He was also the Co-Founder at Offset edu in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Over his career, he has ten years of industry experience in broadcast audio, Vfx, and colour science. He has been working as a professional mix and mastering engineer from feature films, and OTT platforms to indie records. He specialized in immersive audio and surrounds sound & post audio. He launches a start-up for AI-driven audio solutions for content creators & musicians at Stitch audio.
