Ridham Kalyan

Ridham Kalyan is an Indian singer popularly known for his appearance in Indian Idol 2019 as one of the final 15 contestants. Hailing from Amritsar, Punjab, he is one of the youngest singers of this nation and is one of the most loved talents in reality shows. Ridham started singing from a very early age and made his debut in the reality TV show in 2014. He belongs to Punjab, with his father being a serviceman and his mother a homemaker. He completed his basic schooling at Jagat Jyoti High School and Cambridge International School in Amritsar. He is also a trained singer who started taking music classes from a professional music artist and trainer in Jalandhar, Punjab. His teacher was Guru Om Prakash Thapar, who taught him classical music.

Ridham was motivated to take up singing by his maternal uncle, who noticed the talent in this boy and insisted on it. He came into the limelight when he made it to the top 5 of "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil' Champs" in 2014. His performance stunned the judges and the audience alike, and during the same year, he made his appearance in the "Voice of Punjab." In 2018, four years after his grand appearances at two of the nation's most aired singing competitions, he made his appearance in &TV's Rising Stars. He quickly rose to fame after that, and a year later, in 2019, he made his entry into Indian Idol Season 11. He was one of the top 15 contestants, and that rocketed his fame even more.

Ridham also has a fairly active social media presence, with many followers and an active upload of his daily life. He travels across the country, attending various singing shows and events, and is mostly kept busy with his singing projects. He has released three singles until now. Mahi was his first single in 2019, a song that gained instant popularity and went viral on various platforms. Ridham is one of the upcoming stars of the world of singing in India, and his Sufi music is going to be popular to meet new records soon in the future.
