Chhaya Ganguly (Ganguli) is a well-known Indian playback singer. She earned the National Film Award for Best Playback Singer for the song from her first movie, "Aapki Yaad Aati Rahi Raat Bhar”, at the 26th National Film Awards for the same song, she also got nominated for Filmfare's Best Female Vocalist Award at the 27th Filmfare Awards. She was born in 1952 in Mumbai. She got her master's degree in botany from Bombay University. She worked as a broadcast programmer for All India Radio and Door darshan for 35 years in Mumbai and retired in 2012.
She sang the ballad "Piya Piya" from the Hindi film 1983 directed by Madhusudan, “Trikon Ka Chauttha Kon”.
