Asha Kaul has been a flexible artist. She represented India Jammu & Kashmir at the 9th Inter-University Youth Festival. Birendra and Asha did many shows during their first years together, especially the songs of Mukesh-Lata. They both contributed to the development of Anurag in music. Ashaji has since composed countless songs, timeless kayaks, and ghazals of her own and has translated hymns and a shayri of great Indian poets. She has been a cultural ambassador and has organized and executed programs for officials including several heads of state. She made old Hindustani music with equal skill and appeal as did the Ghazals, the Bahágs, and the Geets. Birendraji worked for Tata Steel everywhere, rose to become Head of Industrial Relations and Labor, and eventually retired as CEO of Tata Rings and Tata Agrico.

Her love of music is enduring and Mukesh's favorite songs are "Tu kahe agar Jeevan bhar main Geet sunata jaaoon", "Hum Aaj Kahin Dil Kho baithe" & "toote na dil tooter na toote na, saath Hamara chhoote na chhoote na". An artist who specializes in a wide variety of outstanding and wide scenes, Shrimati Asha Kaul received the prestigious Begum Akhtar Award: India’s top national award given to Ghazal singing. She started her music career as a 5-year-old prodigy from her hometown of Jammu and Kashmir. Since then, Asha has been a regular broadcaster on Indian Radio and T.V. In addition to being a talented artist, she is also a flexible Stage and Drama artist. She represents Jammu and Kashmir at the 9th Inter-University Youth Festival. She has been the Cultural Ambassador for Jammu and Kashmir and has served in the presence of prominent officials such as Presidents, Premiers, Governors, and Heads of Provinces.

She participated in and organized many cultural exhibitions of Indian Defense Service personnel. The depth of her progressive voice reveals itself in all their dignity and love. Her versatile and well-organized voice with an astonishing range of tones can incorporate a variety of exciting melodies - from tender captions to fast-paced music. There is kindness and interest in her songs for Ghazals, Bhajans, Kashmiri Folk, and stage. Her songs by Ghazals and Kashmiri are the jewels of rare and fascinating art. Given the gift of thinking, she has changed her style. She has a sweet and cool voice and uses it skillfully to emphasize the deep qualities of traditional and dynamic singing. Asha Kaul's countless and valuable songs are now a treasure trove of Akashvani Delhi & Srinagar's Historical Music Vision. Shrimati Asha Kaul also did well in Hindustani Classical Music. She has two Music degrees (Sangeet-Visharad) from two major Indian music schools: Gandharva Maha Vidyalaya of Mumbai and Prayag Vishwavidyalaya of Allahabad. She made Hindustani classical music with equal art and charisma as simple classical, Kashmiri Ghazals, and Geets. Asha has composed countless songs, bandish classics, and her ghazals and has translated the songs and shayri of the great Indian poets of her time.
