Manas Malhotra is a famous producer who works primarily in the Hindi entertainment industry. He lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed his schooling from Delhi Public School in 1995. He did his graduation with a Bachelor of Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce in 1998. Then, he did his post-graduation Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a Marketing Major from Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California in 2003. He started his career with Kaleidoscope Entertainment as a Marketing Manager in 2004.
He worked there for a year and then, moved on to work with Percept Picture Company as Marketing Manager in 2005. After a couple of months, he shifted to Bharat Bala Productions as a Vice President. He worked there for half a decade and then, shifted to Fox Star Studios as a Production Consultant in 2011. After a year, he shifted to National Film Development Corporation as a Co-Director of Film Bazaar. After a few years, he moved on to work at Dhun as a producer in 2013. He worked there for around half a decade and produced feature films and feature-length documentaries. In 2017, He shifted to Amazon Prime Video as the Head of Production in India.
After working there for a couple of years, he shifted to Netflix as Director of Production in India. He worked there for around three years and left the job in April 2024 to become a freelance producer. He is best known for the films Up Down and Sideways in 2017, Jugni in 2016, Beyond Bollywood in 2013, and Zaffar and Tudu in 2016. Some of his other works are Tambur, a short film in 2018, Home Ground in 2016, Iyatta: Class, a short film in 2016, Mangal Pandey in 2005, and many others.
