He started his journey as a Senior Manager at Radiocity in June 2007 in New Delhi. After that, he started working as a Managing Director at Ecocomm Media and Entertainment Private Limited in March 2013. The company is mainly responsible for managing the marketing, sales, e-commerce, and internet-related business. It also looks after media planning, audio-visual production, technical IT experts, printing, and publishing.

Jitesh also started his own production house under the banner Jitesh Kumar Films, which is a Delhi-based production house with a branch office in Bhubaneswar (Odisha). It primarily works for the production of Bollywood movies, web series, TV commercials, documentaries, corporate movies, video editing services, post-production works, events etc. Before starting his journey as a film producer, Jitesh directed and produced various television commercials and documentaries for government ministries and other clients.

He made his debut in Bollywood in 2015 with his first feature film titled Mantostaan, which premiered at Marche du Film and Festivals de Cannes in 2016. After successful premieres across the global film festivals, it was released on 5 May 2017 in India. His other project was Rabbi, which was released under the JKF banner on 15 September 2018. Some of his other production ventures include films, such as Million Dollar Nomad, Kya Din the - Before Lockdown, San 84 Justice, and T. Some of these films, including San 84 Justice, T and Kya Din the - Before Lockdown was also directed by Jitesh himself. Besides, he has also directed commercials and short films such as Shanti Pan Masala, The Beginning - Say No to Plastic, Corsa Bath, etc. Jitesh has also teamed up with various production companies and directors to fulfill the mission of promoting content-oriented and sensible Indian cinema and taking it to some international platforms.
