Arindam Roy

Arindam Roy is known as an Indian actor, producer, and a media personality. He took birth on March 13, 1984, in Cuttack, Odisha. The actor received his Bachelor's degree from Christ College, Cuttack. Arindam's father is Gopal Chandra Roy.

He debuted as an actor in Odia film "Prema Rutu Asilare," in the year 2006. Brajara Movies produced the film, and Subhanshu Sahu directed the motion picture. He got popularity from his first movie, and even received an award for Best Debutant Actor, from the Government of Odisha.

Arindam continued his acting in Odia movies. Some of his hit movies are "Kali Shankar," "Mitare Mitam," " Gud Boy Story coming soon... >> Read More... ," "Ishq tu hi tu," and "Tora Dine Ku Mora Dine." Till date, the actor has played roles in more than 30 movies in the Odia film industry.

He has also performed in the Bengali Cinema. Arindam made his debut in Bengali film industry with 2008 film, titled, "Tomar Jonyo." He later played a role in another Bengali picture, named, "Target Kolkata." Kartick Singh, the veteran Bengali director, made the film. Some of his other famous projects include blockbusters like, "Shiva-Not out," (2017) "Love You Humesha," (2015) "Daddy-The Living God," (2014) and "Ashok Samrat," (2013).

Arindam is also a well-known producer. He is an owner of a production house, known by the name of, Ratna Films. He made his debut as a producer with 2013, Odia Drama Film, titled, "Ashok Samrat." Arindam was not only the film's producer but also played the part of Ashok in the Odia movie.

When asked about his involvement in a project, both as an actor and a producer, he claimed that though it was difficult, he thoroughly enjoyed the work. He has achieved a great number of things in his life with full dedication, and his hard work has always been recognized and appreciated by his fans.

He received Best Actor Award for the film, "Raja Jhia Sange Heigala Bhaba." Arindam also received Best Actor Award for 2006, movie, "Prema Rutu Aslia Re." In December 2016, he got married to his long-term girlfriend, Anupa Das.
