Surendra Kumar Jain is the joint general secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad is (VHP). 2013 saw his retirement as the principal of Hindu College Rohtak (Haryana), India. After Vinay Katiyar and Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya, he served as the third president (national convener) of the Bajrang Dal. On June 12, 2002, Prakash Sharma succeeded him as president of the Bajrang Dal. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Delhi School of Economics. After graduating from the Shri Ram College of Commerce in New Delhi, Senior VHP leader Surendra Jain today said that legislation should be passed in Parliament to construct a Ram temple in Ayodhya, ruling out the idea of an out-of-court settlement.
He believed the government would soon adopt a law authorizing the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, according to Jain, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad's (VHP) worldwide joint general secretary. He declared, "Our commitment to the structure of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is no less than that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. When asked if the VHP had received any assurances from the Center, Jain dodged the question by responding, "We all know Modiji has a propensity for throwing up surprises. In this case, too, you may witness a surprise." The VHP leader criticized the administration of Mamata Banerjee for detaining some VHP members from participating in the Ram Navami processions. In Bengal, he claimed, the Ram Navami processions heralded the start of a saffron revolution, which would spread if Mamata Banerjee continued her appeasing policies.
