Shanta Patel was an Indian cinema artist and was known as the lady Robinhood. Her movies like Veer Ghatotkach released in the year (1949) and lady Robinhood released in the year 1946 made her very popular. She was also known as the most successful artist of the 1940s. She was given several awards such as a lifetime. Despite all the fame throughout her entire life, her end days were cruel and poverty-stricken. This is something that Bollywood gets to witness mostly with old lady actresses. She is still in our hearts and her works are eternally endowed within us.
