Poornima Sharma is an Indian actress and theater artist who has showcased her acting skills in the Bollywood industry. She debuted with the film “Gulabo Sitabo '' directed by Surjeet Sarkar and Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Amitabh Bachan. She played the role of Fauzia, Ayushmann's girlfriend. She was lucky enough to get an opportunity to work with famous actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana in her debut film.
Sharma was born in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Her father, Suresh Chandra Sharma, does a private job and her mother, Sunita Sharma, is a primary school principal. Her family lives in Marina, a small town in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Poornima had the ambition of becoming an actress since childhood. To fulfill her dream, she joined theater in 2018 from Bhartendu Drama Academy, Lucknow, while pursuing B.Ed from Khandelwal College, Bareilly. And made her Bollywood debut in 2020 with 'Gulabo Sitabo.'Â
