Charmila Hindi Actress

Born in Chennai to a Malayali Syrian Catholic family. Her father Manoharan is a Veterinary doctor and mother Haise is a homemaker and has a younger sister Angelina. Charmila did her schooling from Holy Angels Convent and later went to Ethiraj College for Women in Chennai city.

Since her early childhood, young Charmila had won the hearts of people by her local stage performances in the city. Her performances were able to move Vijay TV authorities, and thus, she got her first break in to host a show by the name Jillunu Oru Sandhippu. She was also featured in the series Jodi Number One on the same channel.

She made her first silver screen appearance in Tamil film ‘Oyilattam’ in the year 1991 and in the same year she made her debut in Malayalam cinema with Mohanlal-Murali starrer ‘Dhanam’.
