Yuri Bhairavi Vaidya or Bhairavi Vaidya is an Indian actress. Bhairavi made her debut in the film industry with the movie Taal where she played the role of Janki and got quite an appreciation for her role.

Bhairavi had a very short career in the industry but managed to grab roles in 3 movies in her bag. Bhairavi played roles in the movies Taal (1999), Humraaz (2002) and What’s Your Rashee? (2009) where she played the role of Kantabhabhi D. Patel.

Babita is a yesteryear actress who worked for a short time in Hindi film industry. She is the mother of Bollywood’s famous actresses, Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. Born on 20 April 1948, she worked in just 19 films. Haseena Maan Jayegi, Kismat and Farz commercially hit in her career. Born on 20th April 1948, Babita hails from a conservative Sindhi family. Babita ventured into the film industry inspired by the achievement of her aunt Sadhana, who was also an actress. She debuted with Rajesh Khanna in the 1967 flick Raaz, sharing screen space with Rajesh Khanna. This is the first film of Rajesh Khanna too. This film bombed at the box office but her next venture Farz was successful. Producer G P Sippy carried out screen test of Babita and hence the latter got an opportunity to work in his film Dus Lakh. Later, she became a star to reckon with. The college girls were attracted towards Babita for her tight churidars kurtas and the unique eye glasses she wore. Ek Hasina Do Diwane, Banphool, Jeet, Kal Aaj Aur Kal, Kab Kyoon Aur Kahan, Bikhre Moti, Pehchan, Anmol Moti, Doli, Anjaana, Tumse Achcha Kaun Hai, Ek Shriman Ek Shrimati, and Aulad are some of the films in which Babita acted. Babita worked with her would-be (then) in the successful flick Kal Aaj Aur Kal. Babita put a full stop to her acting profession during the mid-70s and got wedded to Randhir Kapoor. She left the industry owing to the limitations set by her in-laws. However, she gave full support to her lovely daughters who are hot properties of Bollywood. She is indeed a devoted mother and looks after the careers of Karisma and Kareena. Babita was not a good dancer and had to be prompted by an assistant director for her flick Tumse Achcha Kaun Hai.


Daisy Irani

Daisy Irani is a well-known actress known for her acting during her childhood days in films of various languages. She was a prominent child star in the industry during the 50s and 60s along with her sister, Honey Irani. She is famous for her roles in films such as ‘Bandish’ which came out in the year 1955 and the movies, ‘Naya Daur’ and ‘Hum Panchhi Ek Dal Ke’ both which were released in the year 1957, and other movies as well. She was born in the year 1950 into a Zoroastrian family and was one of the famous Irani sisters. Honey Irani, who is her elder sister, is also a famous actor and screenwriter and is also mother to Bollywood stars Zoya and Farhan Akhtar. Daisy started her acting career during the 50s, also known as the Golden Age of Hindi Cinema. She was encouraged by her mother, and she said in an interview that she was made to work a lot in a very young age. Daisy along with her sister both were made to play roles of boys, and their frequent presence in films had encouraged people to name their children after them. During a certain time, Daisy had become so popular that the scripts and scenes were written again just so that her screen time could be increased. Her oldest known film and possibly her acting debut was in a Tamil movie called ‘Yaar Paiyyan’ in the year 1955 and later that year she also appeared in ‘Bandish.' She further gained fame and recognition in Raj Kapoor’s ‘Jagte Raho’ in the year 1956 starring Raj Kapoor and Nargis Dutt. She went on to appear in a row of movies throughout the 50s and 60s and through the 70s. She had to give up acting due to her marriage when she was just 19 years old. She got married to filmmaker K. K. Shukla in the year 1971 on January 21st. They had three children named Ritu, Varsha, and Kabir. After her husband’s death, she re-entered in the industry with films like ‘Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’ in 2012, ‘Housefull’ in 2010 and ‘Happy New Year’ in 2014.
