Veerendra was an Indian film actor, producer, and director, remembered by the regional audience for his work in movies like Patola (1988), Nimmo (1984), Dushmani Dee Aag (1990), Vairi Jatt (1985), etc. Mostly known for his predominant involvement in Punjabi films and TV shows, he also contributed to the film industry as a writer. Based in the Kapurthala district of Punjab, he was born on 16th August 1948. Veerendra made his debut on the silver screen with the Punjabi film Teri Meri Ek Jindri, alongside Dharminder. During his career, he directed twelve major films. Before his unlucky death at the age of 40 on 6th December 1988, he was happily married to Pammi Veerendra and had a son named
