Ashok Shinde is a Indian film and stage actor, producer and entertainer. He was born on January 1, 1976, in Pune, Maharashtra, India. He is a very popular actor working in Marathi cinema. In Marathi entertainment industry Ashok Shinde is known for his politeness, virtue, ingenuity, commitment and positivity. His father was a commercial makeup artist and so was he for few days with his friend but later, Ashok left his work and decided to opt to act as a full-time career since 1987. During his travel in the field of acting, he has worked on stage, television and films as a hero, villain, and anti-hero. He had done many Marathi movies like ‘Aai Tulja Bhavani’, ‘Ranragini’, ‘Chaukat’, ‘Maajhe Ghar Tujha Sansar’, etc.

In 1988, Ashok Shinde did a movie titled ‘Rangat Sangat’ from where his successful and fame career started and after that he did many good Marathi films like ‘Zakhmi Kunku’ in 1995,’Jatra: Hyalagaad Re Tyalagaad’ in 2006,’Dil Se Pooch… Kidhar Jana Hai’ in 2006, ‘Ashtharoopa Jai Vaibhav Lakshmi Mata’ in 2008 and recently ‘Vijay Dinanath Chauhan’ in which he played the role of Vijay. He also had a guest appearance in Nana Patekar’s Hindi film ‘Yashwant’. Till date Ashok Shinde has done 111 films and 100 Marathi TV Serials like ‘Swapnancya Palikadale’ on Star Pravah(channel), ‘ Gharkul Story soon >> Read More... ’ on DD Sahyadri and recently ‘Sakhi Saubhagyavati’ and ‘Saubhagawati bhaw’ in 2015 on ZEE Marathi channel, apart from 42 daily soaps on Sahyadri channel. After completing 1200 episodes of ‘Swapnanchya Palikadale’ successfully, playing the prominent role of Yashwant Patkar, he has come with a new avatar in ‘Lagori-Maitri Returns’ on Star Pravah, which is his 100th TV Serial.
