Baharat Godambe is a professional, famous makeup artist from Mumbai, Maharashtra. Baharat is married to Doris. The couple has two children, Juhi and Suraj Baharat met Doris on the set of an ad movie. He has worked in the film industry for years and has done makeovers for celebrities, from bridal makeup to families, weddings, and celebs on set, to several fashion shows. After many years of practicing as a makeup artist, he opened his makeup line, B&D, in 2005 with his wife Doris who is a renowned hairstylist. I’m so proud to be their daughter. My parents have been working as a hair and makeup artists for over four decades. Growing up, i watched them transform faces from movies to fashion shows and even brides. And today, the day has come when my dad has done his daughter’s bridal makeup. I have never seen my dad this nervous, although he didn’t show it. I knew what every breath my dad took meant, so i knew how vital this makeup was to him. Growing up, so many brides asked my parents, will you be doing your daughter’s makeup one day at her wedding, and they always thought that day is years away. But now here we are. Baharat and his wife have won awards, like the Iffa award (2008) for best hair, and best makeup of the year, the kingfisher award (2001)
