He is a film editor who has worked in the industry for more than four decades. He was born on February 19, 1932, in a small village of Goa called Pomburpa. for six months. After that, he was asked to work as an Assistant Editor in Filmistan.
He served Filmistan for the next 12 years. His first movie as an independent editor was Raj Khosla's ‘Do Raaste', released in 1967. In his career as an editor, he has worked with many celebrities. He has advanced Indian cinema through his innovative editing techniques. Though he won many awards in his career, the most remembered once are- best editing award for Inkaar in 25th national film Awards and Filmfare award for best editing in Saudagar in 1932.
