Shrikant Kelkar

Shrikant Kelkar is a skilled multimedia professional. He has over 20 years of experience in film, television, music, and video production. He is the founder of Candid Canvas Production. Currently, He is working as a Creative Director at Hue Media. Shrikant did his B.A. in History from Ramnarain Ruia College Mumbai, Maharastra.

Shrikant is an Indian film editor, director, composer, and writer. He also does editing for films, TV shows, documentary series, advertisements, and video & audio content.  He started his journey with writing and directing TV shows for Doordarshan. He was also pursuing his passion for music, performing on stage, and scores for ads, film, and TV. Later on, many opportunities led him to become an editor at UTV and Sony Pictures Network. 

Shrikant worked as an editor in various films. Some of his films are  Fuddu, Prime Time, Doppelganger, Adwait, Eknath, etc. He has also directed short films and series. The short films are Eknath and Adwait. The tv series are Ashi Milel Ka Ho Shalaa and Aamchi Shakha Kuthehi Nahi. He also directed one feature film named Hridaynath. Shrikant worked as a writer & dialogue Writer for Feature Film Hridaynath. He was a writer for Doordarshan's Aamchi Shakha Kuthehi Nahi & Ashi Milel Ka Ho Shala - a Marathi TV Show. And also a writer for Doordarshan’s Singing Reality Show Antakshari.

He also worked as a Music Composer for feature films. He worked on BGM For Mortoo (Kokani) and  BGM for Doppelganger. He worked as an editor for well-known TV Shows. Some of them are Kon Banega Crorepati (Launch Trailer), Kapil Sharma Kapil Sharma was born in a small town of Amritsa >> Read More... (Launch Trailer), and Indian Idol (Launch Trailer). Shrikant was an editor for a well-known brand advertisement. The names are Nivea, Tata Motors, Loreal, Microsoft, Nissan & many more. He has won the Promax Asia Gold award for Editing(2017-18),   Promax Asia Silver for best Promo(2017-18), and many more.
