Vikram Bhandari

Vikram Bhandari is a Director, Producer, Writer, and Philanthropist based in Ostfildern, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. He completed his schooling at the Wynberg Allen School. Then, he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. In May 1999, he completed his Diploma of Education in Charismatic Studies at the Indiana Christian University.

He also holds a degree in Masters in Media Communication and Television production at the Kodaikanal Christian College, India. His work aims to capture the essence of reality with a commitment to authenticity and a deep understanding of human emotions. He immerses himself in the lives of his subjects, to capture their stories with unparalleled realism and complementing them with insightful interviews that delve into their psyche and emotions.

Vikram started his career as a Media Production Trainer at the Fachhochschule Reutlingen in Reutlingen Area, Germany. In 2005, he worked as a Producer and Editor at the Mueller Fernsehproduktion. In September 2006, he became the Production Manager at the CBN Multimedia Private Limited in New Delhi. He interviewed and hired top-notch producers and helped the firm to establish the core production team for a half-hour-daily aired show on a national channel.

He also managed, coordinated, and scheduled the day-to-day activities of the production team. Then, he got engaged with CBN Incorporation in Germany and Belgium and produced various segments for broadcast on national channels in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. He also shot and edited news stories while simultaneously working on a feature documentary.

Vikram then returned to Mumbai in 2017 and worked as a writer/director for the film Enjoy - Pleasure Paradox. The film also won the Honourable Jury Mention at the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival in 2018. It was a film about a character named Rahul, a hardworking married man with traditional values, who encounters a quick-witted and smart girl with an open, carpe diem mindset. When their worldviews clash, the audiences get a glimpse of the doubts and fears of the characters.

In 2015, he started working as a Producer and Director at the Denkpause Films. It is a film and video production company based in Ostfildern, Germany. The company creates meaningful, entertaining, original content for online, film, and broadcast audiences across the globe. The mission of Denkpause Films is to tell thought-provoking stories on various relevant ideas, themes, and subjects in an entertaining way through films and videos to a global audience. Their goal is to make films which are not only entertaining, but also throw light on various socially relevant issues.

The company primarily produces those stories which deal with the human condition and the human psyche. It focuses on the subjects which are not usually explored enough in mainstream media. It also helps companies and non-profit organizations who want to communicate their work and vision through compelling visual storytelling.
