Debamitra Biswal Hasan is a former television creative director who is known for her 2019 directorial film “Motichoor Chaknachoor”. The director is married to Sohaib Hasan who is the owner of a production company in Mumbai. Unlike most of the people in the industry, Debamitra had the courage and determination to face all the hardships in the most competitive place in India:Bollywood.

She is an inspiration to many youngsters teaching them how to be willing and stubborn towards achieving their dreams. She is a former student of Maharshi College of Natural law. Debamitra was always decisive to work and get into directing movies. She left her hometown Odisha in the year 2003 for Mumbai. Her family and friends were also supportive of her decision.
