Pushkaraj Shrike

Pushkaraj Shirke is a famous creative director, copywriter, advertising professional, sports photographer, and fitness trainer in the Bollywood film and advertising industry. He is widely known for working for several national and international brands’ advertisements for over nineteen years. Pushkaraj Shirke got a Bachelor’s in Psychology degree from Jai Hind College, Mumbai in 2005 and was interested in studying Philosophy and English Literature. He later studied Film Direction at the prestigious New York Film Academy in 2012 and returned to India to work in the advertising and film industry. 

Pushkaraj Shirke started his advertising career by working as a copywriter in Makhija Advertising by writing print advertisements for several electronics, retail, home decor, and real estate brands. In 2007, he became the copy head by developing corporate communications for Star TV Network’s channels and shows. Later Pushkaraj Shirke worked as a copy supervisor in Ogilvy and Mather in 2008 by developing creative marketing and digital communication ideas for several reputed brands including FMCG. For his hard work, he won three international awards in the prestigious New York Ad Fest and the Effies. 

In January 2010, Pushkaraj Shirke worked as the copy head in Asymmetrique Communications by developing creative content for several brands and worked there till the end of the year. In November 2010, he became the creative group head in Draft FCB Ulka and launched ITC’s Sunfeast Dark Fantasy Biscuits in the commercial market. Pushkaraj Shirke became the Consulting Brand Manager for some companies like Neulife, K11, and YFC and produced a reality show called Masterclass Muscle, which was popular among the audience. He also worked with Reliance Digital company and conceptualized content to promote their household products in the mainstream media. 

Over the years, Pushkaraj Shirke directed many ad films, and documentaries for several brands like Libertina Lingerie, Golds Gym, Gatorade, and Red Bus and has also directed three fitness television shows. In September 2022, Pushkaraj Shirke became the partner and creative director of Creative Khichdi, a production company, and has also undertaken various fitness and sports photography assignments. Apart from being a creative director, he is an aspiring weightlifter, fitness trainer, and martial arts instructor, who is an exponent in Krav Maga, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Jim Wagner’s Knife Defence, and Kalaripayattu. He is active on social media and often posts several updates about his advertising career and personal life. On the personal front, Pushkaraj Shirke lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
